New!
Ribbon user interface (UI): CorelCAD 2014
introduces two new ribbon UI workspaces that were
designed to maximize efficiencies for specific workflows.
The 3D Modeling and Drafting & Annotation workspaces
organize the application’s tools and commands into a
convenient ribbon, which makes it easier to discover
features.
The familiar ribbon UI options also help to ease the
transition for new users who are migrating from
AutoCAD or other similar programs. Plus, you can easily
import customized AutoCAD workspace files (CUIX) and
map those tools and functions directly to the CorelCAD
ribbon.
Smart drafting tools: CorelCAD 2014 has all the
smart drafting tools you expect in CAD software, offering
the same functionality that professional designers have
grown accustomed to in graphics software. You can
speed up drafting with a variety of entity snap modes,
entity tracking, and polar guides. Custom coordinate
systems can be created to align the construction plane
with drawing objects. You can also save time by using
EntityGrips to quickly reposition, align, copy, or resize
entities.
